Focus on accessibility at Autumn trade show
Rescroft Ltd and Diversified Communications have announced that the Accessibility Zone - “accessible Solutions by Rescroft” - will feature once again at Coach & Bus Live with an even larger dedicated zone in the heart of this Autumn’s event.
Following on from the success of Euro Bus Expo 2014, Neil Widdowfield, Rescroft’s Sales
Director, says: “accessible Solutions at Coach & Bus Live 2015 will be a bigger and better event for visitors. We have increased the size of the zone to accommodate a wider range of specialist vehicles and equipment.”
Rescroft is bringing together its wealth of experience in the accessibility sector, gained from their Ambulex and accessible Solutions brands, which combine patient transport (PTS), accessible, community, local authority, special needs and mobility transport solutions.
Mike Phillips, who organises the majority of Rescroft’s events, says: “We are delighted that this initiative is being supported by the Association of Transport Co-Ordinating Officers (ATCO) who will hold special events for their members during the 2-day exhibition. It was a natural progression for us to work with the organisers to develop this content for the show.”
Visitors to “accessible Solutions” will see a varied range of mini and midi vehicles built by several well-known manufacturers, the latest seating products from Rescroft and a range of other equipment, all of which are important to this specialist transport sector.
The Accessibility Zone, which will feature around 30 specialised companies, will combine with
the main Coach & Bus Live event to bring together all aspects of public transport under one roof over two days at NEC, starting Wednesday 30th September.
Group Director, Diversified Communications Mark Griffin said: “Undoubtedly there is a return of confidence to this important sector of the market. There have been some great product
innovations recently and last November saw a huge interest in mini and midi vehicles from visitors. Demand this year to exhibit is unprecedented and we look forward to working with all of our stakeholders in the coming months to deliver a great domestic showcase for our industry”.
Organisers report that 85% of exhibition space at the show is already taken and will see the added Showcase Live feature for selected vehicles taking part.
Coach & Bus Live is the major domestic showcase for the bus, coach and passenger transport technology sector, taking place at the NEC on 30 September – 1 October. For more information visit www.coachandbuslive.com. Euro Bus Expo returns on 1-3 November 2016.
